ZM puts on special One Direction flight to Sydney

One Direction aren’t bringing their tour to NZ, so FVM want to give listeners the chance to see One Direction Live in Sydney.

To get on the One D trip – fans took part in ZM’s “Directionaire Questionaire”.

Each fan registered at and provided the details of a “nominee who would take the “Directionaire Questionaire” live on air on their behalf. The person had to be over 30 years old eg Mum, Dad, Nan, Pop..

Then each morning, Fletch, Vaughan and Megan had a new team on the show who were told 30 minutes before their “Questionaire” what their topic was (e.g Harry Styles). That team was then popped into another room so they could cram as much info into their nominees brain as possible! Then it was time to be tested…if they got the 3 questions right their nominator made it on plane!

Each winning team won 3 tickets to the concert, accommodation for two nights and 3 seats on the very special One D Trip to Sydney!

The special flight leaves for Sydney on Saturday morning at 9am.

#5SOS on 60 Minutes next week

5 Seconds Of Summer (5SOS) are an unlikely group of teenage Australian lads who have traded in their quiet suburban lives to become rock gods. They have a following of adoring female fans packing out their stadium shows, and a debut chart-topping album that is currently number one here in NZ.

Plus, Kiwi running legend Nick Willis is in the form of his life, and is once again looking to make history with his sights set on doing the 1500m – 5000m double at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. As Willis prepares to propel the famous black singlet to the top of the podium, 60 MINUTES reporter Wayne Hay travels to catch up with him in his Michigan home.
