TVNZ has withdrawn its bid for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
The state broadcaster met today around a new joint bid to be led by Maori Television. They are working constructively together in the best interests of all New Zealanders to get a successful outcome.
There is still more detail to be sorted out.

Teddy, the short film about love, relationships, and a teddy bear is to be released on DVD next month.
The DVD will be available from the

The final Netball International between the Silver Ferns and England for 2009 will be broadcast live on TV ONE this Friday morning during Breakfast.
Breakfast will begin as per normal at 6:30am and broadcast through until the start of the Netball International at 7am.

Ratings for both networks late news were up on last month's average after the evening’s developments in the Aisling Symes case.
TV3's Nightline had 230,620 viewers last night up from September's average of 172,210.
On TV One's Tonight there was a similar jump from September's average of 153,000 to 221,640.
