At the beginning of this year it was announced Jesse Mulligan would be leaving 7 Days to pursue another project.

The 7 Days team would like to wish Jesse bad luck in his new venture and sincerely hope that any new programme he appears on isn’t that good.

Throughout his time on 7 Days Jesse had been successful and great to work with, but the producers and cast of 7 Days hope he brings none of this to new projects and that things go very badly.

7 Days host Jeremy Corbett said “It isn’t that nobody liked Jesse, it’s really only sour grapes. I want his new show to sink like a turd.”

Fellow panellist, Paul Ego said “If Jesse’s show doesn’t go too well, everyone will be really sympathetic to his face but secretly pleased.”

Many of the comedians who worked on 7 Days with Mulligan are already writing texts to send Jesse after his first appearance. “Great show bro, we should catch up for a beer sometime”, is already saved in the Drafts folder of Dai’s new Nexus 4 phone. But it is not expected that Henwood will ever catch up for a beer with Jesse. Ever. Not even once.

7 Days producer Jon Bridges claimed that Jesse’s role at 7 Days has been filled by Jayden Philips, a year 11 student at Westlake Boys who will work part-time.
