How the Olympics could impact your MY SKY series links
Important advice regarding MY SKY functionality from SKY TV:
The London 2012 Olympics is nearly here and SKY is delighted to be bringing you more coverage than ever before. With up to eight dedicated channels*, you’re sure never to miss that crucial golden moment. As a result of providing subscribers with these additional channels with Olympic coverage, there will be an impact to your future bookings and series linked programmes on TVNZ Kidzone24 and CNBC.
On Tuesday 17th July, any future bookings, including series linked programmes on TVNZ Kidzone24, CNBC, SoHo (Standard Definition only) and SKY Sport 3 (High Defintion only) will need to be deleted and rebooked.
To reinstate future booked and series linked programmes, please follow these steps using your MY SKY remote control.
On July 17th (or as soon as possible thereafter), make a list of programmes on the above channels that affect you that are future booked or series linked in your planner.
Delete those programmes from the planner. You do not need to delete any previous recordings.
Add the list of programmes back into your planner by using the green button to reinstate your series links in the normal way.
At the conclusion of the Olympic Games you will be required to make the same changes to future bookings and series linked programmes on these channels.
This means that on Wednesday 15th August (or as soon as possible thereafter), please follow the above steps for any future bookings and series linked programmes on TVNZ Kidzone24, CNBC and SKY Sport 3 (HD).
