Back Benches Summer Tour
TVNZ 7′s Back Benches is hitting the road and setting out on a Summer Tour of the central North Island – heading to Hamilton, ripping down to Rotorua, tripping through Taupo and whipping to Wanganui.
Hosts Wallace Chapman and Damian Christie will be joined by the local MP’s and residents to talk about issues important to the electorate and broad-ranging banter.
Back Benches is normally filmed LIVE at the Backbencher pub across the street from Parliament, every Wednesday. Self-professed politics-junkies, Chapman and Christie, moderate the discussion from the floor of the pub, as ministers and mavericks rub shoulders with skaters and spectators. The show attempts to demystify the world of New Zealand politic by bringing the Beehive to the barstools.
If you are in the area, it is well worth heading along to be part of the exciting Back Benches pub politics mix. Tonight’s episode will be filmed LIVE at The House, 27 Hood Street, Hamilton.

absolutely superb to see TVNZ are following in the footsteps of Native Affairs who did this back in November for the Elections.
