Home and Away wraps up for 2011

It’s been another action-packed year on Home and Away, but there are more dramas to come for the citizens of Sumer Bay before the series concludes its 2011 season on Friday, December 23rd at 5:30pm on 3.

Leading up to this week’s unmissable 2011 season finale, Home and Away stars Charles Cottier has revealed that his character Dex Walker will leave his girlfriend, April (Rhiannon Fish), devastated after she catches Dex kissing another girl at a party – prompting her to vow that their relationship is over.

Dex ends up at the party with Xavier Austin (David Jones-Roberts) while April is busy looking after Irene, who is currently unwell. While there, Dex is surprised when a girl called Dallas suddenly takes a shine to him.

“Dex tries to avoid her the whole night, but it doesn’t go very well,” Charles Cottier explains.

“She’s coming on to him and he’s never had a girl come on to him like that.”

“He tries to resist her, but she grabs him and pulls him in. Before he knows it, he’s making out with her. It’s not like Dex went looking for it – he just made a stupid decision.”

Dex tries to apologise to April the next day, but she is adamant that she wants nothing more to do with him.

“It’s a case of too little, too late,” Rhiannon Fish explains. “She’s a really strong girl, so the second he breaks her heart, she’s like, ‘I’m done – I don’t want you to hurt me again’.”

But Dex won’t give up on his love that easily… Will he be able to get back into April’s good books, or is it really over for these two Summer By love-birds? And what about Brax (Steve Peacocke) and Charlie (Esther Anderson), will theirs be a happier ending?
