Christmas specials on FOUR

There’s over three hours of festivities on FOUR this evening when viewers are treated to back-to-back Christmas specials across all your favourite Thursday night viewing.

Kicking off at 6:30pm with That 70s Show, where Red, who is more of a Grinch than a giver, is forced to don the red suit on behalf of his company. Following that viewers are treated to the quirky Christmas themed opening to The Simpsons and a humanitarian themed episode where Lisa educates Homer on the importance of the birds and the bees.

In the Family Guy Christmas special at 7:30pm, matriarch Lois loses the Christmas spirit, while Peter loses the Christmas presents, and it’s hard to tell which is worse. Back-to-back Christmas episodes of The Cleveland Show follow at 8pm, where Rallo learns about Hanukkah while giving back to the community, and Cleveland over does it on the eggnog and shares one family secret too many.

Futurama gives viewers a futuristic twist on the festive season with “Robot Santa”, the revival of the long extinct pine tree, and the creation of a made up Robot holiday – Robanukah. Another excuse for a day off work or a relevant celebration for the future? – You be the judge!

But it’s American Dad that may trump them all when it comes to kooky Christmas stories in the apocalyptic coming-of-Christ themed episode which focuses on Stan and Francine’s life after the vast majority of the church, including Hayley and Steve, are raptured.

FOUR wraps up the evening’s Christmas viewing with a touch of reality TV when the police have to deal with holiday season shenanigans on popular American series Cops at 9:30pm. .

If Christmas is the silly season for you, make sure you have a laugh with FOUR when back-to-back festive comedy extravaganzas screen from 6:30pm on Thursday, December 22nd.
