Former Sticky TV host Sam Wallace joins Saturday Breakfast team
Saturday Breakfast launched over the weekend.
The new addition to the weekend schedule is hosted by Rawdon Christie and Toni Street.
Unlike the weekday edition, the show does not have a separate newsreader for the half hourly bulletins.
Rawdon reads the news and Toni does sport.
Saturday’s weather report was provided by Matty McLean who was “getting back to his rural roots” walking among sheep and lambs in a pair of stubbies.
From next week the team will be joined by former Sticky TV presenter Sam Wallace.
Wallace said his role will consist of “spending Saturday mornings with New Zealanders with a bit of weather along the way.”

I love the new edition of Breakfast. I live in an isolated area of WA, Australia and its wonderful to see Toni and Rawdon. I feel quite homesick for NZ!!
What a dreadful intro line! “Good Morning NZ,So Great to have us in your home this morning ” ugh..Implying what the viewers think is a big No-no.
The awkward moment when the guest doesn’t get breakfast.
