Gallery: Breaking the news of Osama bin Laden’s death

Both TV One and TV3 broke in to regular programming yesterday afternoon to break the news that Osama bin Laden had been killed.

TV One’s coverage was initially hosted by Greg Boyed who introduced coverage from ABC America. They later cut to CNN’s coverage. Simon Dallow was in the anchor chair following Obama’s press conference.

Over at TV3, John Campbell hosted the news special. 3 took a feed from Fox News to begin with, before switching to coverage from Sky News UK.

    Interesting to see John Campbell fronting it. First time I was able to get to a Tv to only see Tv1′s show…in maori.
