BBC News correspondent dies
BBC News correspondent Brian Hanrahan has died at the age of 61 after a short battle with cancer.
The announcement was made a short time ago on BBC Radio Five Live.
Hanrahan appeared on both radio and television including BBC News 24, BBC World News and Radio 4.
He is best known for his coverage of the Falklands War.
Fans and colleagues have been paying tribute via Twitter.
