@KrissyMoreauTV1 named a runner-up in slogan competition
One News journalist Krissy Moreau has been named as one of the runners-up in the ‘Love Your Town’ national slogan competition.
Krissy decided to enter the contest during her 12 month secondment to TVNZ’s most southern news bureau. During her time covering maternity leave for local Dunedin ONE News reporter, Megan Martin, Krissy reported from the student riots in the burning streets, the Undie 500 and many other distinctly Dunedin stories. Many of those experiences have been humorously depicted in the artwork around her slogan “Funedin” that sprouts out of a large pair of men’s Y Front underpants.
One winner and 9 runners-up were chosen by the judges. All the finalist’s slogans have been printed on to tee shirts and are now for sale. $5 from each tee sold with Krissy’s slogan will be donated to the Dunedin SPCA (see more details about prices at link below).
Cecelia of Westport on the West Coast won the ‘Love Your Town’ competition with the slogan “She’ll be Whitebait”
The competition was run by Grabaseat.
