TVNZ host broadcaster for Pike River Remembrance Service

The Pike River Official Remembrance Service will be covered live from Greymouth’s Omoto Racecourse by TVNZ on Thursday 2 December.

As with Sir Edmund Hillary’s State Funeral and the Maori Queen’s Tangi, TVNZ will act as the host broadcaster for the event, making pictures of the Service available to other New Zealand and international broadcasters.

More details about the coverage will be announced next week.
