Hopefully TVNZ 7 will use much of the new content created for ABC News 24. A live feed of the ABC would be vastly superior to the Breakfast highlights and endless repeats of the same current affairs shows and documentaries that feature for much of the day. TVNZ and the ABC should really co-produce programmes for their respective news channels, setting them up as sister channels that share substantial amounts of content while each also includes some of its own national-focussed content. It would be much better to have a really good Australasian news channel rather than a decent Australian one and a mediocre NZ one.
