CNN veteran leaves network

Veteran broadcaster Christiane Amanpour is leaving CNN.

The network reported that their chief international correspondent will leave in August after 27 years to join ABC News as the host of “This Week”.

While at CNN she interviewed some of the most powerful people in world politics including Mohammad Khatami Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Tony Blair, Jacques Chirac and Pervez Musharraf.
