Bernadine Oliver-Kerby returns to TVNZ to co-present ONE News at 6pm with Simon Dallow from Monday.
The popular presenter will fill-in for regular news anchor Wendy Petrie who is on maternity leave and expecting her third child in early February.
“Bernadine is a very experienced, professional and well-liked presenter and I have no doubt she can seamlessly slot into this key position for us in Wendy’s absence”, says TVNZ’s Head of News and Current Affairs, Anthony Flannery.
Bernadine has been on maternity leave from her weekend news presenting role since July. In August she had Scarlett, her second daughter, with husband Mark Lendrum.

It is so lovely to have Bernie back on the news, she is such a natural well articulated announcer and her and Simon do a wonderful job.
