New Nightline presenter among changes at 3 News
There will be a change of presenter on TV3′s Nightline in 2010 according to reports.
NZHerald.co.nz is reporting former London correspondent Rachel Smalley is returning to New Zealand and will be the new anchor for TV3′s late night news when it returns next year.
Samantha Hayes is moving to a reporting position on 3 News at 6 to cover environment and conservation.
It is understood Hayes will also cover for Carolyn Robinson and Hilary Barry when they are away.
Other changes at TV3 include the departure of Sia Aston from the press gallery. Aston is understood to be taking up a job within parliament. A source told Dan News she will be the new Press Secretary for Paula Bennett. Rebecca Wright will be her replacement.

I think – that your photosopping looks good ^^ haha.
But about Rachel. At first i thought “oh god no”, because he voice just seems to annoy me. But she does have an impressive portfolio & i an experienced journalist. So, maybe it might do wonders for Nightline? She is a bit older than Sam, so that male audience might not be happy.
I can see, in the future, a matured Sam Hayes presenting every night for the 6pm news!
OhH PLEASE NO PLEASE NO!!!!!!!!!
