The Edge to launch in Marlborough

The Edge radio station launches in Marlborough on 104.9FM on 1 December and we’re looking for someone to turn on The Edge and get summer started!

The search is on now for someone to flick the switch so if you’re keen, register online now at www.theedge.co.nz/marlborough.

“It’s fantastic after such a long wait to get the chance to turn on The Edge in Marlborough, so what better way than to get a local to do it,” said Leon Wratt, Programme Director of The Edge Network.

Jay-Jay Feeney, The Edge Morning Madhouse breakfast host says, “We’re so excited about broadcasting into Marlborough. We can finally track down some old tap-dancing classmates of our boss Leon Wratt (he grew up in Blenheim and was quite the mover). If you have any old photos or goss on him, please contact us!”

The Edge started in Hamilton in 1994 and now broadcasts across 22 markets nationwide. More people listen to The Edge than any other music station in New Zealand.
