TV3 not ruling out ‘Top Model’ return

The New Zealand Herald has reported that TV3 have scraped NZ’s Next Top Model.

The report stated that even though the show rated well, a drop in advertising revenue meant that they couldn’t afford another series at this stage.

TV3 has said this afternoon that they have not ruled out a second series of the high-rating reality programme.

“TV3 is not planning to produce a second series of New Zealand’s Next Top Model in the short term, so fans should not expect a new series during the first half of 2010, but it is a distinct possibility for the second half of next year.”

Did you watch NZNTM? What did you think of it?

Mediaworks hasn’t axed NZNTM, as you say, it is not planned in the short term due to production funding.
Not gone, just not happening this year.

Hey guys I really want NZNTM to be screened next year as I am one of the desperate people that want the show still to run as I have been waiting for one whole year for me to apply for 2010 as I had drama’s this year and wan’t able to attend this year. But I really want NZNTM to air on t.v next year this is sort of like my dream but it’s coming to an end. I’ve just come on the net and searched up NZNTM and I just keep seeing that it’s gonna cut from 2010 or will be postponed. Please let it happen well I hope it does.
