  To be fair & accurate…TVNZ debuted standing in it’s news presentation back in the ’02 revamp…before others in NZ. So in this case it’s not copying or a fail. Just my 2c =)

  I think its TV3 that’s copying. TV One did standing up in its updates ages ago….back when Kate Hawkesby and Eric Young were hosting Tonight! Plus One News theme music is way better then Tv3s…theres is just crap! Where she is standing looks exactly the same as the set for the current affairs show Sunday.

  Actually you might remember TVNZ did it first with Tonight when Kate Hawkesby and Eric Young were hosting, they introduced the bulletin standing up.
