Sky News goes widescreen

Sky News has gone widescreen.
The Australian based news channel broadcasting on Sky channel 90 made the switch in stages over the weekend.
The channel also launched new weather graphics. Here are some screen shots of the new look:

Sky News Channel is owned by British Sky Broadcasting, Seven Media Group and PBL Media, each with a 33% stake in the company respectively.

    I agree with the comment RE: the ticker. It just doesn’t look good with all that white space. Would it really be that much of a loss to drop the weather?

    Speaking of weather, the new wx graphics look great! How old was the previous set? Going on near 8 years, yes?
